1. General information
The Information Technologies in Business subject aims to provide the student with the necessary knowledge to understand and understand the economic and business activities and processes that are behind or are intended to be implemented with information systems, and the business reasons for the use of information technologies.
These approaches and objectives are aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda of United Nations (https://www.un.org/sustainabledevelopment/es/) and certain specific targets, so that the acquisition of the learning results of the subject provides training and competence to the student to contribute to some extent to the achievement of target 8.2 of Goal 8.

3. Syllabus
1.-STRATEGIC ANALYSIS AND INFORMATION SYSTEMS.
2.-BUSINESS CONTINUITY: TECHNOLOGY, INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND STRATEGIC PLANNING.
3.-MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS.
4.-MANAGEMENT OF THE ACTIVITIES.
5.-QUALITY OF SERVICE.
6.-INNOVATION AND TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT.
7.-MANAGEMENT OF SYSTEMS IMPLEMENTATION.
4. Academic activities
Lectures: 30 hours.
Theoretical-practical sessions in which the contents of the subject will be explained.
Problems and cases: 25 hours.
Practical exercises, part of which may require computer tools (practices)
Teaching assignments: 22 hours.
Application through work of the concepts learned.
Personal study: 70 hours.
Assessment tests. 3 hours.
5. Assessment system
This can be done in two ways:
1. Continuous assessment
Students who wish may be evaluated by continuous assessment, performing the following activities:
Completion of proposed practical exercises. It will account for 10% of the final grade.
Completion of a group work applying concepts from the subject. It will account for 25% of the final grade.
Completion of an individual written test that includes theoretical and practical questions of the subject matter learned in the subject. It will be evaluated with 65% of the final grade. A score of 4.5 out of 10 will be required in this test to be averaged with the previous continuous assessment activities in order to pass the subject.
2. Global assessment.
The global assessment consists of:
1º.-First: it will be the same that will be carried out in continuous assessment and represents 65% of the final grade. It will include theoretical issues and case studies.
2º.-Second: it will be carried out after the previous one, also including theoretical questions and practical cases. This exam represents 35% of the final grade.
